CORPORATE INFORMATION:

Plycon's Keep is a subsidiary company of Plycon Computers, Inc. of Valdosta Georgia. Plycon's Keep was incorporated in March of 2003 and is a completely separate business entity. The Keep handles all sales related to traditional table-top role playing and military wargames, and related accessories.

The Keep currently shares retail, warehouse, and shipping resources with it's parent company. Facilities consist of a 4000 square foot brick and mortar retail store with additional warehouse space to handle mail order processing.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Plycon's Keep is located in Valdosta Georgia. Valdosta (known as the "Azalea City" for the large number of azalea plants located all over the area ) is located near the border between Florida and Georgia. Valdosta is a military and college town - home of Moody Air Force Base and Valdosta State University. This produces a community with a population from all over the world - but it still has the "feel" of a city located in the deep south. And yes, it's very hot and very humid here!

We're gamers here at Plycon. We love the games, and we love pimping them! Having been introduced to RPGs in 1981 with the classic boxed Dungeons & Dragons set as a Christmas gift from my sister (thanks Bev!) - I've been hooked on gaming ever since. I've run one of the longest campaigns in the local area (solid plot line since 1985). I started the first local organized play events for Magic the Gathering with two friends (Hi to Bill Grow and BJ Whiddon) in 1993. And I've gamed with pretty much every large group in the area until Real Life (TM) intruded and forced me to make some changes.

Change is always good though. I snagged some degrees. I got married. I became a father. I opened a computer business that has become known internationally for extreme cooling and case modifications (you might have seen some of our numerous mentions in Maximum PC magazine or even on Tech TV). My wife and I also opened up a weapons replica business that has now grown to be one of the largest legal suppliers of airsoft weapons in the United States. We have a huge internet presence and we're one of Fed-Ex's largest shipping accounts in Georgia.

So why open a game store you ask? Quite simply because I can (I have an extremely understanding wife who puts up with my crap folks). Having run into so many local gamers unhappy with the region's poor retail gaming offerings - it seemed to be a no brainer. We offer a full range of games, and game related products that no other store in the area can compete with. The Keep is well funded from our core business and offers some of the best customer service you will ever find. The web based portion of the Keep is a sister site to our other domains, and benefits from our established web-commerce infrastructure. We're also well known online with an excellent reputation for quick shipping, quality products, and great service - so order with confidence!

Our retail showroom is filled with stock. We have a store LAN with some of the coolest modified computers you'll ever see. All of our fixtures are on wheels - so when Saturday (or any special tournament dates) arrives we simply move the fixtures to the warehouse and we have tons of room for tables and gamers. We have a large selection of terrain available for the use of our customers. We've even stockpiled tons of caffeine enhanced products to keep your gaming groove on! Our store is clean and family friendly. Everyone is welcome!

We hope you'll give us a chance to earn your trust and business. You'll find us to be extremely honorable and fair - and easy to deal with if you should ever have a problem. We want to be your first choice for gaming products and pretty much everything else that is cool (you have stopped by our other sites right?). We're a real brick and mortar business. We answer the phone during normal business hours (compared to those shadowy virtual only companies that often don't even have a way to contact them aside from an email address...)! We're legal in every possible way.

Thanks for dropping by our site and finding out a bit more about us. Please let us know if you have any questions.
